WVU Benefits Strategy partnered with the West Virginia Center for End-of-Life Care (WVCEOLC) to deliver WVU and WVU Research Corporation employees important advance care planning education and resources.
The WVCEOLC provides coordination, education, and resources so that at the end of life West Virginians will have their wishes for care known and respected. The Center can provide you with resources and assist you with preparing your advance care directives, including Medical Power of Attorney (MPOA), Living Will (LW), Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) cards, and more.
The WVCEOLC is also home to the WV e-Directive Registry, which is a password-protected, HIPAA-compliant statewide database that allows accurate and relevant information about a patient’s wishes to be readily available to treating health care providers for respecting the patient’s wishes.
Joins Benefits Strategy on Tuesday, April 13 at noon for a Lunch and Learn webinar to learn more about the WVCEOLC and understand how you may take advantage of the resources and education available.
