The purpose of disciplinary action is to correct, not punish. Employees are expected to behave appropriately, maintain standards of performance and conduct as required for their position, and comply with applicable policies, procedures and laws. When this does not happen, disciplinary action may be taken. The Employee Relations staff is available to assist with this process. This unit also assists employees who may feel they have been disciplined unfairly.
