Overview

West Virginia University, in collaboration with WVU Research Corp., has made a strategic decision to transition approximately 550 WVU Research Corp. employees to direct University employment.

This strategic shift is designed to better align research operations with the University’s mission and infrastructure while streamlining administrative processes and improving employee support.

While job titles may be adjusted to fit the University’s job family structure, day-to-day duties, reporting relationships, salaries, and work locations are expected to remain unchanged unless otherwise communicated. This is only a transition of positions. No positions will be eliminated as a direct result of this transition.

We deeply appreciate your continued contributions and are committed to making this transition as smooth and transparent as possible with minimal impact to your critical work.
