West Virginia University (WVU) offers benefits-eligible employees two options for Legal Plans to help employees afford legal counsel for everyday life matters.
Administrator: Mountaineer Flexible Benefits

Coverage Options: One coverage option is available.
- Employee + Family - employee plus their legal spouse and legal minor dependents are covered.

Plan Options: Two plan options available; visit the ARAG website and use access code 18387wv to view details.

Premiums: Premiums are post-tax and deducted over 18 or 24 pays depending on length of employee's contract.

Enrollment: Employees may enroll the month of hire or during the two following months.
- To enroll, complete the Mountaineer Flexible Benefits enrollment form and submit directly to WVU Shared Services at SharedServices@mail.wvu.edu.
- Beyond the new hire enrollment period, coverage can only be changed during the annual open enrollment period or on the basis of a qualifying life event.
