PROGRAMS
WVU has partnered with TIAA to bring benefits-eligible employees a public student loan forgiveness program powered by Savi. This tool will help strengthen your financial footing in the short term, and positions you for student loan forgiveness.
WVU Perks is an online employee discount program that offers local and national discounts and deals on several everyday items and services, as well as voluntary insurances. The program is offered to all WVU and WVU Research Corporation benefits-eligible employees.
Dependent children of WVU, WVU Research Corporation and University Innovation Corporation benefits-eligible employees who are enrolled as full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible.
Designed to support WVU's student parents, Student Family Resources offers information about programs and services that are available for students and their families. This includes childcare financial assistance, scholarships, summer camps and programs, etc.
WVU benefits-eligible classified employees may qualify for tuition assistance through this WVU Staff Council program.
Graduate Tuition WaiversWVU and WVU Research Corporation benefits-eligible employees may qualify for graduate waivers.
This membership organization is open to anyone age 50 or older regardless of educational background. The goal is to provide intellectually stimulating classes and discussions with peers along with opportunities for social and recreational activities, such as field trips to environmental and historic sites and for appreciation and study of the arts.
The WVU Community Music Program provides a comprehensive program of musical training for the amateur performer, enlightened listener, and professional musician. Programs are offered for all ages. Discounts may be available to employees and students and will be listed on the respective registration form.
WVU Arts & Entertainment provides employees, students and the community with the annual WVU FallFest, Arts Series, concerts, and family friendly entertainment.
WVU Dining Services has several dining plan options for WVU faculty and staff and WVU Research Corporation employees. The plans are available to all full-time, benefits-eligible employees located at our Morgantown and divisional campuses (WVU Institute of Technology and WVU Potomac State College).
WVU Talent and Culture has partnered with PNC and all WVU and WVU Research Corporation employees can enjoy special discounts on banking products, direct deposit of their paychecks, and convenient banking. Employees can also get savings and rewards on banking services and technology tools to help them bank how and when they want. Employees also have access to free educational financial wellness webinars on various topics throughout the year.
SERVICES
The WVCEOLC provides coordination, education, and resources so that at the end of life West Virginians will have their wishes for care known and respected. The Center can provide you with resources and assist you with preparing your advance care directives, including Medical Power of Attorney (MPOA), Living Will (LW), Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) cards, and more.
Membership is open to all employees of WVU and affiliated organizations (listed on Credit Union web site). Employees’ relatives can also be members. Services include savings and checking accounts, Christmas Club, CDs, and loans.
Become a Member Now!The FSAP is a confidential problem-solving resource for faculty and staff and their family members. This program provides professional staff who offer a safe place to sort through problems and determine the best resources available. WVU maintains a passport acceptance facility on the Downtown Campus located in Purinton House (1505 University Ave.), room 102 (at the main entrance). The facility is open to WVU students, faculty, and staff, as well as the general public for passport application services and passport photo services. Schedule an appointment today!
Serving the needs of WVU faculty, staff and students, the WVU Child Learning Center (CLC) provides child care to over 200 children ages 6 weeks to school age. The CLC also offers drop-in care in addition to infant care and kindergarten prep.
DISCOUNTS
Discounted season tickets are offered to all benefits-eligible WVU and WVU Research Corporation employees for football, and men’s and women’s basketball events. Benefits-eligible employees will receive a 20% discount on regularly priced season tickets and a 50% discount on annual seat donations (if applicable). Single ticket purchases also qualify for a discount if purchased in groups of 20 or more. This discount is available to all and discount varies by event.
The Software Licensing Information Center (SLIC) offers WVU and WVU Research Corporation employees discounted downloads from multiple vendors, as well as anti-virus protection.
WVU employees and retirees will receive the maximum customer discounts on all products. Must have a valid ID or WVU email.
Discounts on your personal account of $9 per eligible line available on both
the Every Day and Even Better plan regardless of the number of lines plus 20%
off all accessories.
