Flu vaccination information 

To promote the health and safety of our campus community, WVU is encouraging all faculty, staff and students to get an influenza vaccination this fall.

Walk-In Appointments

Walk-in appointments at WVU Medicine Student Health are offered during regular business hours (Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.). 

The WVU Medicine Urgent Care location in Evansdale offers walk-in appointments Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Suncrest Town Centre location is open daily from 7:45 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Primary Care Provider

We encourage students, faculty and staff that are not taking advantage of walk-in appointments with WVU Medicine to consider receiving the vaccination from their primary care provider.

Flu shots are a fully covered under PEIA and The Health Plan for insured employees, spouses and dependent family members. Flu shots also are covered for students under the Aetna Student Health insurance plan.
