To promote employee health, WVU Employee Wellness has partnered with WVU Medicine to offer WVU employees, dependent family members, retirees and students the opportunity to receive a flu vaccination on campus, no appointment necessary.

Flu shots are a fully covered service under PEIA and The Health Plan for insured employees, spouses, and dependent family member/s.

Those not insured through PEIA or The Health Plan may bill their insurance or pay cash or check for vaccination at a cost of $25.


Clinic Schedule

Flu vaccines are being provided by WVU Medicine

No appointment is necessary. 

NOTE - WVU Medicine will not administer the vaccine to children under the age of 9 at these clinics. 


What To Bring

1.  A copy of your insurance card.
If not billing insurance, please bring cash or check for $25. 
2.  Print and complete the FLU CLINIC PACKET.
3.  Wear clothing that allows convenient access to the upper arm. 
4.  Students, please bring your student ID.

WVU Urgent Care has two convenient Morgantown locations for employees, dependent family members, retirees and students. No appointment is necessary and parking is available at the door.


Open 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday

Open 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Saturdays

Suncrest Towne Center

Open 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., 7 days a week.


Employees, retirees and students who plan to obtain a flu shot at a location other than WVU Medicine are encouraged to contact the provider in advance for information regarding: hours of operation, vaccine availability, insurance coverage, etc. Not all locations accept PEIA insurance, so fees may apply. 

If an out-of-pocket expense occurs, PEIA-insured employees and dependents may seek reimbursement by submitting the HealthSmart Health Benefits Claim Form.
